Announcing Our Fourth PITCH Finalist

Congrats to Bea Arthur and  Rachel Becker of Pretty Padded Room, the latest finalist to be announced for our upcoming PITCH Competition.

Our online judges have been busy reviewing all of the PITCH applications, with our conference now just weeks away. PITCH Finalists will be competing on stage for prize packages that would make any entrepreneur swoon!

Today we are excited to announce our fourth PITCH Finalist Pretty Padded Room, which is reinventing therapy by bringing it online, transforming the experience into something that is convenient, affordable, and accessible for all women.

We can’t wait to hear more from Pretty Padded Room. Watch them pitch live and get feedback from top-shelf investors!

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

PPRVoted a Website to Watch by Entrepreneur Magazine, Pretty Padded Room provides online therapy to women on their own time and on their own terms. This revolutionary website for women connects clients from anywhere in the world with an all-female team of licensed counselors through video chat or Digital Diary, an interactive journal that facilitates written consultations. Our model has transformed traditional therapy into an experience that is low-cost, convenient, and completely confidential.

FOUNDER BIOS

ba146.ver2.cr.lrBea Arthur is founder and CEO. Called “innovative and inspiring” by the American Counseling Association, founder and CEO Bea Arthur is a successful therapist, entrepreneur, and women’s advocate. Her passion for the field of psychotherapy led her to start two wellness-based businesses and a private counseling practice, all before the age of 30.

Rachel headshot.pngRachel Becker, COO, is a licensed social worker with extensive experience in emotional health care, including a fellowship in psycho-oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York Methodist Hospital, and the Jewish Child Care Association. She is also a recipient of the Zelda Foster Fellowship in End-of-Life Care.
