Why Female Founders Love Seattle

Female founders are giving a big thumbs-up to Seattle!

In a recent interview with Andy White, we learned that 25% of the Vegas Tech Fund is comprised of female founders (high five!). Additionally, they seem to be receiving support in another innovative city; Seattle. In fact, the city “ranks second among top ten cities for women entrepreneurs,” according to NerdWallet. See what these female founders had to say about their entrepreneurial experiences in the emerald city below:

Women 2.0 is contributing to the supportive environment for female founders in Seattle by hosting our signature networking event Founder Friday Seattle.  This month’s event is on Friday Nov. 15, from 6-9 p.m. and will be hosted at Facebook’s office!

Nadia Mahmud, CEO and Co-Founder of Jolkona and Mary Jesse, Chairman and CEO of Ivycorp and will both share the lessons they’ve learned as an entrepreneur at #FFSEA. Here’s a little bit about them:
