Women 2.0 welcomes SurveyMonkey’s SVP of Product & Engineering Selina Tobaccowala as a speaker for the upcoming Women 2.0 Conference. Before leading the engineering department at SurveyMonkey, Selina co-founded Evite, which was acquired by TicketMaster in 2001.

Stanford computer science grad Selina Tobaccowala is now a seasoned technology executive as well as a practiced entrepreneur, having started Evite in her Stanford dorm room. At TicketMaster, she was senior vice president of product and technology at their Europe division, and previously the VP of Engineering and co-founder of Evite.com (founded in 1997). She managed the transition, then took on the role of Senior Director of Product and Technology for CRM (customer relationship management) at Ticketmaster.

At SurveyMonkey, Selina is the Senior Vice President of Product & Engineering, where she is eyeing the next billion users and emerging markets in her current role. On February 14, Selina will share her Evite.com founder story as well as discuss her current role as a leading technology executive, as well as her thoughts on “The Next Billion”.
