Quotable Quote From Serial Entrepreneur Alicia Morga

“Building a business doesn’t mean getting venture capital – it means finding customers and making money,” – serial entrepreneur Alicia Morga speaking at Founder Friday San Francisco in July 2012.

By Celeste North (Founder, NuFlick)

I’ve followed serial entrepreneur Alicia Morga for some time, I’m amazed by her courage, hard work and interesting advice.

I was happy to discover among Tim O’Reilly’s tweets one quoting her from her talk at Founder Friday San Francisco. Though for many this may seem simple advice, I find we too often forget what the purpose of a startup is. We are so caught up in Silicon Valley jargon and glamour that we lose focus in what is really important.
