CareBooker Is Our Seventh PITCH Finalist

The latest finalist to be announced aims to make booking care services a snap.

By Jessica Stillman (Editor, Women 2.0)

Remember when booking restaurants involved scratching your head about where you wanted to go, searching around for a number, waiting for the reservation desk to open and then actually getting on the phone (and maybe doing it all again when they tell you they’re fully booked)? All that is a distant memory for us with the advent of OpenTable. Our latest PITCH Finalist to be announced is hoping to make similar headaches surrounding booking care services history as well.

carebooker-vector-previewFounder and CEO Jenna Dreher Fernandes describes CareBooker as “the ‘OpenTable’ for booking family care services, such as babysitting, pet care, tutoring and lessons, and more. Find. Book. Pay.” It’s a vision for simpler service booking that she’ll be pitching live to our amazing panel of judges in Las Vegas.

Who else will be competing for prizes including meetings with Google Ventures and Esther Dyson, as well as office space from Silicon Valley Pad and cloud services from Rackspace? Have a look at the previous finalists to be announced here and check back in the coming days for the remaining three female-founded startups to be announced as finalists.

Founder Bio

Which finalist are you most excited to see more from in November?
