We have lots of amazing speakers lined up at our Las Vegas conference. We thought we’d highlight a few so you can get to know them digitally. Their Twitter accounts are hyperlinked below so you can be prepared to tweet them a question instantly at our conference.
Kay Koplovitz (Founder, USA Network, SYFY Channel)\>
Koplovitz founded the USA Network and the SYFY Channel, creating the business model for cable networks. While chair of the National Women’s Business Council, she launched Springboard Enterprises with Amy Millman. We are thrilled to have her as a keynote speaker! Follow her @kaykoplovitz.
Lori Cheek (Founder & CEO, Cheek’d)
Cheek is an architect turned entrepreneur. Cheek’d, a dating service that allows you to start the conversation in real life and then pick it up online, was featured on the front page of the New York Times Style section. Follow her @loricheeknyc.
Katrina Lake (Founder & CEO, Stitchfix)

Cyan Banister (Founder and Editor-in-Chief, Zivity)Â
Banister founded the media company Zivity, a NSFW premium subscription and fan interaction platform for artists in 2007. She raised a total of $8 million for Zivity and is also a “prolific angel investor.” Follow her @cyanist.
 Shikoh Gitau (Founder, Ummeli.com)
Ummeli is a portal that helps connect young people to jobs, specifically in Africa. Gitau is also a UX researcher and designer for emerging markets at Google and won the Google Anita Borg award. Follow her @shikohtwit.
Beverly Parenti (Founder, The Last Mile)
The Last Mile, launched in 2011 at San Quentin, is a platform that helps selected groups of men make the transition from prison to freedom successfully. Parenti also is currently the VP of Operations for KickLabs. Follow her @thebev.
Linda Franco (Founder, Machina)

Jessica Schimm (@JessicaSchimm) is the assistant editor at Women 2.0. She is a recent graduate of San Francisco State where she earned a B.A. in journalism and was the editor-in-chief of SF State’s Her Campus chapter.
