Let’s go to Vegas! Unlike past years, we are not only extending the conference to a two-day, but also changing it up from New York City to Las Vegas! With efforts like the Downtown Project, Las Vegas has become a hub of tech innovation in the past couple of years. The effort to create a dynamic community (education, arts, music, culture) aligned with values of technology and entrepreneurship sets the perfect stage for this year’s conference theme.

We have chosen the world famous Bellagio as our conference venue! We have secured a competitive group rate for a limited number of 2-night stays for the nights of Wednesday, November 13th and Thursday, November 14th. Hurry now and buy your Deluxe Room Conference Package (Early Bird) tickets to secure accommodations at our deeply discounted group rate! Early ticket purchasers will also have the option to extend their stays for up to 3 nights before and after the conference using our special group rate.

Lunch Mentorship

Do you have questions about your startup? Funding? Team building? We invite you to apply for Lunch Mentorship with Investors and Lunch Mentorship with Seasoned Founders during lunchtime on both days at the Women 2.0 Conference 2013 – Las Vegas Edition. Lunch Mentorship with Investors is open only to founders of technology startups while Lunch Mentorship with Seasoned Founders is open to all conference attendees.

Both sessions are meant to be opportunities for intimate networking and learning. In a roundtable format, 5-7 participants have the opportunity to form lasting connections with an investor or seasoned founder mentor and fellow participants.

For the Lunch Mentorship with Investors session, we do our best to match founders of technology startups with angel investors or venture capitalists whose portfolios reflect similar business areas, company stages, and investment capacity. This session provides an opportunity to better understand the investor and funding process, as well a chance to form a valuable connection with an investor. Please note this is not meant to be a pitch session so we ask that you be courteous and allow all participants a chance to chime in.

Past Investor Mentors Include:

    • Wesley Chen (Google Ventures Partner)
    • Stephanie Palmeri (SoftTech VC Principal)
    • Christine Herron (Intel Capital Director)

For the Lunch Mentorship with Seasoned Founders session, we choose mentors who are the founders of successful startups. We do our best to match up participants with entrepreneurs who can provide expertise on the topic area of the participants’ expressed interests.

Past Seasoned Founder Mentors Include:

    • Leah Busque (Co-Founder, TaskRabbit)
    • Danae Ringlmann (Founder, Indiegogo)
    • Rashmi Sinha (CEO & Co-Founder, SlideShare)
    • Jess Lee (CEO & Co-Founder, Polyvore)

How to apply for Lunch Mentorship:

Step 1: Please apply for either session by answering yes to the relevant questions on the Eventbrite Registration form when buying your ticket. For example, if you are interested in the Lunch Mentorship with Investors session, answer yes to the question: “Are you interested in participating in the Lunch Mentorship with Investors/Seasoned Founders session?” on the Eventbrite page, titled “Registration Information.”

**Please note: completion of Step 1 is not a guarantee of admittance into the session.**

Step 2: We will notify you whether you’ve been admitted into the session by sending you a Lunch Mentorship Session confirmation email. Please bring a digital or hard copy of the Lunch Mentorship Session confirmation email to ensure your admittance into the closed session.
