First-Time Game Developer Debuts ShufflePix For iPhones

Six months ago, I quit my management consulting job at Deloitte to follow my heart and create a video game!

By Shinji Kim (Founder, ShufflePix)

It was scary – quitting my management consulting job to follow my dream of creating a video game: I didn’t know anybody in the games industry and had never had a games job before.

Yes, I never made a game before. And it wasn’t all easy.

After I decided to take the leap and quit my job, I had to figure out how I was going to build what I saw in my head. I’m not going to lie – it was a lot of hard work – but luckily, there are a ton of resources out there where you can learn how to do what you want to do as long as you’re willing to put the time in.

Six months was the amount of time it took from the day I started working on ShufflePix until the day it launched.

A few more iterations and three months later, you have the ShufflePix that’s available today – free on the Apple App Store right now!
