Wedding Party, Co-Founded By Himani Amoli, Raises $1 Million Seed Round For Wedding Picture Sharing App

Wedding Party, which raised $1 million in seed funding, was co-founded by Ajay Kamat, Dan Perez and Himani Amoli (pictured, right).

Mobile UX designer Himani Amoli is a co-founder of Wedding Party, an app for iPhone and Android that helps you conglomerate your guests’ pictures from the big day.

TechCrunch announced that Wedding Party has raised a seed round of $1 million, led by NEA and Felicis Ventures.

Participating angel investors include early Dropbox investor Pejman Nozad, Ullas Naik, Darian Shirazi, Rich Chen, Zeki and Haroon Mokhtarzada, Doug Pepper, Mark Jung, Kumar Malavalli, Chris Hobbs, Hamid Barkhordar, Sam Ferdows and Merced Partners.

Wedding Party was co-founded by Ajay Kamat, Dan Perez and Himani Amoli in Mountain View, California. The team is working on building new products to showcase how awesome your wedding is.

Himani Amoli is a serial entrepreneur. Before starting Wedding Party, she founded Startup Roots (a fellowship program for entrepreneurial students) and MicroMobs (a way to communicate between friends and family) in the Silicon Valley.
