Lynda Weinman, Co-Founder Of lynda.com, To Deliver Closing Keynote At Women 2.0 Conference On February 14

Female founder of lynda.com to speak at Women 2.0 Conference. lynda.com earned $100M+ revenue in 2012, and closed $103M outside funding last week for expansion.

Just a week after celebrating the good news of the edutech company raising $103 million in outside funding, Women 2.0 is excited to welcome Lynda Weinman, co-founder and executive chair of lynda.com, to deliver the closing keynote for the Women 2.0 Conference on February 14, 2013 in San Francisco.

lynda.com was founded by Lynda Weinman in 1995 and has been profitable since 1997. The online learning platform will increase its ability to expand services to help more people in more places with its first round of outside funding – $103 million from Accel Partners, Spectrum Equity and Meritech Capital Partners, announced just last week.

The funding will be used for growth in content, technology and international operations across its online courses in software, technology, creative and business skills. Prior to funding, lynda.com earned over $100 million in revenue in 2012.
