3 Female Digital Health CEOs You Should Know

Meet three female CEOs of digital health companies that received over $2 million in venture funding recently.

Earlier this week, Tuesday, October 16, 2012 was Ada Lovelace Day, a day dedicated to supporting the accomplishments of women in technology and technology policy. Ada Lovelace is considered by many to be the world’s first computer programmer.

To celebrate, we are profiling three outstanding women who are leading digital health companies you should know:

Gena Cook (Co-Founder & CEO, Navigating Cancer)
CEO Gena Cook runs Navigating Cancer, an online educational site, patient portal and community that provides resources to cancer patients for free. The four year old company is used by over 500 oncology providers nationwide. Follow her on Twitter at @genacook.

Sheila Lirio Marcelo (Founder & CEO, Care.com)
