Meet The Winning 2012 Women 2.0 PITCH Competition Teams

The 2012 Women 2.0 PITCH Conference has proved to be so impressive that a thousand people, mostly women, gathered yesterday at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA to hear inspiring presentations by entrepreneurs.

Flickr co-founder Caterina Fake and ZipCar co-founder Robin Chase headlined a day full of talent, ideas, networking and world-changing aspirations to innovate with great products.

Here are the four winning teams from the 2012 PITCH Startup Competition:

2012 PITCH Startup Competition Winner – Tiny Review

Tiny Review is like Instagram for Yelp reviews. Express yourself through a picture and three lines. Follow people who write reviews you trust and get a quick assessment through “mini-reviews.”

“Most Like To Change The World” – DocPons

DocPons is a healthcare company with a unique platform for the purchase of health services. The platform gives coupons affordable health that ordinary people need and deserve. DocPons is revolutionary because it is the first project in the healthcare sector which gives access to health and wellness.

“Most Disruptive” – Perfect Beauty

Perfect Beauty is a comprehensive platform for women around the world to build a community based on beauty and personal image consulting. Perfect Beauty offers a platform for social networks and product markets. Users are given incentives to write reviews, and purchase of products through the web or mobile application.

“Most Promising Team” – Buyosphere

Buyosphere is a Q&A platform. Ask what you are looking for and the platform will route your question to those who know how to find it. Buyosphere wants to eliminate the confusing experience of searching for products online, and leverages social networking to help you find what is right for you to save you time.
