In a series of tweets, the acquisition of social business management platform Oneforty was announced by Internet marketing and web analytics company HubSpot.
Laura Fitton is the Founder & CEO of Oneforty, recently acquired by HubSpot. Follow her on Twitter at @pistachio.
Laura wrote on the company blog:
“Merging our directory into the HubSpot App Marketplace will create the world’s largest marketing app store. We’re excited to integrate features from SocialBase right into HubSpot’s core product. Very soon we’ll have more info on how this affects you, and lots to share about how HubSpot can support your business. Join me on HubSpot.tv Friday afternoon at 4 PM eastern at for the first tastes of that. On a personal level, I’m incredibly excited about my new role telling the world what inbound marketing makes possible. This is a welcome return to my 15 year career in marketing (cue the Legally Blonde outtake: do you think she just woke up one morning and said “I think I’ll do a startup?!!”). This is a chance to build something huge alongside the absolute best in the business — who are also among the smartest people we’ve been lucky to meet on this startup journey.”
OneForty had raised a total of $2.35M in VC, while HubSpot raised a $32M Series D round earlier this year.
